Ashanti and Nelly have sparked reactions with their response to a reporter’s question about whether they’re expecting another child.
As The Shade Room previously reported, Ashanti and Nelly popped out for the rapper’s Black and White ball in St. Louis on Sunday, December 15. Per Bossip, while at the event, journalist Damon Arnold questioned the pair about whether they’re expecting another baby.
“Listen, don’t do that,” Ashanti told Arnold.
Meanwhile, Nelly grinned awkwardly while adding:
“Imma stay quiet.”
Social media users reacted to Ashanti’s response and Nelly’s apparent grin in Arnold’s comment section.
While Instagram user @paigehulseystl added, “That wasnt a ‘no’!!!”
As The Shade Room previously reported, at the event, the couple also took the stage and performed her hit single, ‘Baby.’ During the performance, the pair appeared smitten with one another and even changed the lyrics of the song’s hook to“We made a baby, baby, baby, baby.”
