Some do it for the love of money, some do it for the love of the art and others for the ‘Gram!Ashley Everett (@AshleyCMEverett) however, is doing it as a means of preservation, if you will. You see, Everett has been featured in films before, but has more recently decided to take a bigger stab at the film industry. Her reason why will definitely cause you to reflect on your own goals!
For Ashley Everett to only be 26, her career is super cute, yet highly coveted. Beyoncé’s dance captain has sashayed across hundreds of venues around the world alongside many artists such as Tina Turner, Usher, Robin Thick and Jennifer Lopez. She’s also been featured in ads from Pepsi and Lays, however the list really goes on and on!
In order to understand why Everette goes so hard, you must understand her ‘Why’. “Film and cinematography lasts forever and that’s something that is really, really great and really special to me,” she told As We Present. “It’ll last longer than I’m alive and my kids and my grandkids and their kids and their grandkids can always see me. That’s what creates your legacy,” she said. Wasn’t that deep? If we all thought this way, we’d be more focused! The byproduct of us using our gifts and talents aren’t always just about us!
Since she’s not touring at the moment, Ashley is back on season 3 of Hit The Floor and is already preparing for future roles by way of a few acting classes! Ashley told us “I’m still kinda starting out, but I’m looking forward to it!” Given her track record, we expect nothing but more success as she steps out of her comfort zone!
