Asian instructed her fans last night to get the song to number one, and her fans are working hard to try to make it happen. She has been giving folks a play-by-play of where the song has been on Apple’s charts, as her fans have continued to have streaming parties.
Asian shared on Twitter 22 hours ago the song was on the charts at number 18. She has been thanking her fans, and just one hour ago, she revealed that the song was in the top 5 on the Apple HipHop/ Rap chart! Overjoyed, she tweeted, “LETS GOOOO.”
The song is in good company on the charts. Megan Thee Stallion, Nicki Minaj, BIA, and Saweetie were all in the same category. Taking pride in being an independent artist, Asian responded to a fan who shared a clip of a 2017 interview. In the video, Asian addressed critics who talked about her rapping ability.
