Former Danity Kane member and Bad Boy artist Aubrey O’Day has spoken out, sending a brief message to Cassie ahead of Diddy‘s sentencing.
On Friday, October 3, Aubrey O’Day took to her account on X, formerly known as Twitter, to share a video message with her followers. Furthermore, O’Day initially posted the clip on her Instagram Story around 9:50 a.m. In the clip, O’Day stood rocking a red dress and voluminous blond waves.
“Prayers up from Italy!” she told viewers. “Today’s a really big day.”
At that point, O’Day let out a deep sigh.
“Breathe… Let’s hope we see some justice, finally,” she continued. “Love you guys! [And] thinking of you, Cassie. Love you!”

As of the time of this publication, Diddy’s sentencing is underway. Judge Arun Subramanian, the judge who presided over his eight-week criminal trial, is also presiding over his sentencing. As The Shade Room previously reported, Diddy was ultimately convicted on two counts of transportation to engage in prostitution, while also being acquitted on charges of racketeering and sex trafficking.
Amid Aubrey O’Day’s statement on X, Diddy’s family members and loved ones were seen arriving at the Southern District Courthouse to be present as Judge Subramanian reads his decision. At this time, it has been reported that Diddy may speak during his sentencing, with his team also presenting an 11-minute video about his philanthropic efforts throughout his life for the judge to view and also take into account his decision.
On X, O’Day shared her reaction to the montage clip.
As The Shade Room previously reported, in March 2024, Aubrey O’Day made headlines when she took to social media to react to the federal raid on Diddy’s homes. At the time, she reposted a screenshot of a photo of the raids, adding, “What you sow, you shall reap. I pray this emboldens all of US victims to finally speak on what we have endured… There is no ‘too soon’ on this one, just ‘too late.'”
Additionally, O’Day noted that she had been telling the world about Diddy for “two decades.” However, no one listened. Per Vulture, specifically, O’Day accused Diddy of removing her from Danity Kane for not doing what was “expected of her” in areas outside of her talent.
Then, in May of that year, O’Day reacted to Diddy apologizing after footage, recorded in 2016, was released of him assaulting Cassie in a hotel hallway.

Then, in September 2024, when Diddy was arrested, O’Day took to X to share a remark about justice coming to fruition.
Most recently, in July, O’Day reacted to Diddy’s conviction in a clip posted online.
