Roomies, you might remember August Alsina introducing Zu to the world on an episode of VH1’s ‘The Surreal Life’ in 2022.
The ‘No Love’ singer shared that he wanted to honor those who have impacted his life, including the man he said was teaching him “so much about love and healing.”
In a confessional, August shared heartfelt words about Zu, expressing his desire to honor him for a love that “defies all the constructs.”
“Love showed up but in a new way. I want to share that and really honor the person that I love, and that loves me back, and teaching me so much about love and healing, I want to do that in front of the world because it defies all the constructs that one would say love is supposed to be or love should look like.”
August has never publicly confirmed a romantic relationship with Zu, but social media users have speculated that an intimate connection, given August’s past description of their bond.
Zu is also a musician, and the duo collaborated on a track titled, ‘2 am’ in June 2022.
