#Roommates, social media went absolutely nuts when Ayesha Curry dropped a few new bikini pics on the ‘gram. Many immediately noticed the difference in Ayesha’s body after a weight loss journey—well now she’s sharing a bit of her secrets for getting fit and fine.
Normally, Ayesha Curry keeps things pretty PG as far as showing off her body is concerned, but apparently that modesty has all changed thanks to her impressive new weight loss. She shocked fans when she posted two photos of herself wearing a tiny green bikini, taken by her husband Steph Curry, on her Instagram account.
While many fans were praising her new figure, others were calling out Ayesha for being a hypocrite based on her past comments about women showing their bodies on social media. Those comments are likely one of the reasons she decided to address how she lost the weight and got in shape.
Posting to her IG stories, she explained it this way:
“I’m down 35 pounds, very happy to be. I spent my entire 20’s having babies, nursing babies, now it’s my turn to nurse myself. Mommies need love too!!!! Been in the gym since January. Heavy HIT, hella cardio, floor work. And changed my entire diet (except for Sunday’s…you know what it is) Will share more soon!”
You’ll recall that back in 2015, Ayesha came under fire when she posted on social media that although it seems to be the popular trend to show your body off for everyone on the Internet, she prefers to be more modest and cover up “for the one who matters.” This is the previous comment that many on social media are referencing in contrast to her new sexy bikini photos.
