Roommates, the frequently controversial Azealia Banks usually takes to social media to rant about of number of things on her mind—but this time her message was a decidedly positive one. Azealia Banks officially announced her engagement to her fiancé Ryder Riggs with a couple of Instagram posts.
Posting to Instagram, Azealia Banks gave her fans an up close and personal look at her very unconventional engagement ring, along with a few words about the special occasion. “I said yes!!! @ryder_ripps and I are engaged!!!!!!,” she wrote.
Additionally, she provided a bit more insight into her big news with a caption that read “I just got engaged k**ts. I’m crying. I’m Jewish now. MAZEL TOV B**CHES! WE IN HERE…. YERRRRRRR.”

For a little bit of info about her fiancé Ryder, he’s a New York conceptual artist who has worked with big names like Kanye West (as part of his Donda collective,) Miley Cyrus, Grimes and the late Pop Smoke.
It appears that Azealia and Ryder only started dating a few weeks ago, judging from the posts on her social media accounts. She also pretty much confirmed in her engagement announcement that she will be converting to Judaism once the two are married, as she referred to herself as a “Jew.”
There is no word on when the newly engaged couple plan to tie the knot.
