Word on the street is Common and Regina Hall have been secretly dating, and they have been a couple for the past year.
According to Daily Mail, a source close to the two revealed that they have allegedly been in a romantic relationship since last year, and they are extremely happy with one another.
The two met on the set of ‘Barbershop 3: The Next Cut Up,’ and Common asked Regina out on a date. The source said, “Regina wasn’t interested in dating a fellow actor. She’s always shied away from idea of being with one of her co-stars. But Common was persistent and finally won her over.”
The two reportedly went on their first date when the film officially wrapped. However, they’ve been adamant about keeping their relationship under wraps.
The source also revealed that Regina has reportedly inspired him to make new music. Back in 2014 revealed that his album, ‘Nobody’s Smiling’ was supposed to be his last full-length release.
However, he is scheduled to drop his new project, ‘Black America Again,’ next month.
‘This is the happiest anyone has ever seen him. He’s a hopeless romantic and after several failed relationships, he lost faith in love,” said the source.
Last month while on The Breakfast Club promoting her latest film, ‘When The Bough Breaks,’ Regina was asked about her relationship status and she definitely tried to move away from the question.
A rep for Regina has denied the relationship, however time will tell if these two are really in a relationship.
