Bambi isn’t feeling the “baby mama” label when it’s coming from Lil Scrappy, but she’s made an exception for her lil’ boo!
In a recent ‘Love & Hip Hop Atlanta’ clip, Bam addresses her ex-husband for using the term about her. For context, the former couple divorced in 2023 but welcomed three children named Breland, Xylo, and Cali during their marriage.

Hours after the video of Bam clocking Scrap went viral, she dropped off a message about her man, Rayface.
Bambi Explains To Scrappy Why She’s Not A “Baby Mama”
The reality TV show showed Amy Luciani, Spice, Scrap, and Bambi having a discussion. After Amy concluded her point, Scrappy responded, “…I don’t like being in drama with my baby mama.”
Bam quickly asked whether he was speaking about Erica Dixon. He said no and confirmed he was talking about her. “Don’t refer to me as your baby mama. Don’t do that,” Bambi said. He replied, “What you mean?” and she doubled down on her stance. At that point, Karlie Redd jumped in and said, “That’s your ex-wife.” He then proceeded to explain the point he was making. However, the scene cut away to confessional commentary from Bam.
“When Scrap is in my presence, you will absolutely respect me and you will never refer to me as your baby mama because you married me and I gave you three children. That is never gonna give baby mama,” Bambi clarified.
For context, Erica and the rapper share an 18-year-old daughter named Emani, whom they had outside of wedlock. Though Erica and Scrap dated and were engaged in the early 2010s, Bambi is the only woman he has ever married and had kids with while married.
In December 2024, he welcomed his second child out of wedlock, a son named Kyrie. Scrap conceived the child during an alleged three-way sexual encounter with two women, including Kyrie’s mother, Shakira.
Roomies Weigh In On Bam’s Stance
After The Shade Room reposted the clip on IG, over 8,300 reactions flooded the comment section. Roommates seemed to side with Bambi’s rejection of the label, but keep reading to see for yourself.

@dominiquechinn agreed, writing, “I mean, they were married. So, ex-wife makes more sense, right?”
@thee_only_cici weighed in on Bam mentioning Erica. She wrote, “I was with her until she brought Erica name in it girl you could’ve still got you point across … cause he really wanted to marry Erica if we being realistic…”
Meanwhile, @indeskribeabull joked, “It’s giving baby mama.”
@natural.beauu offered a different perspective, writing, “Ima ex-wife and that n***a could call me his brother IDC.”
But @diamondshinezbright said: “There is a huge difference between a baby mama and an ex-wife!”

Bam Doubles Back On “Baby Mama” Label
Meanwhile, on Instagram on Tuesday, Bambi made it clear that she’d make a “baby mama” exception for Rayface. She posted a selfie video of him kissing the side of her and rubbing noses. The clip was giving very much boo’ed up! Her caption said, “If ima be anybody, Baby Mama,” with heart-eye emojis.
For context, in November 2024, Bam revealed her relationship with Rayface by posting a photo of him standing between her legs. While the shot was BTS from his music video, Bam both shared videos from a shopping trip days later. Well, given this new video, it looks like they’re still going strong!
