#Roommates, our forever president continues to show us just how much we miss him. Despite being an amazing person, Barack Obama also has incredible taste in the arts, including movies, TV and books. For his final list of 2019, he just revealed his favorite songs of the year—and as expected, he likes a little bit of everything.

Even though we don’t get to keep up with the daily updates of his life as much these days since he’s a civilian and no longer the president, Barack Obama still finds a way to be as down to earth and relatable as possible. As he has been known to do in the past, Obama just released his annual “best of” lists, where he posts his favorites in movies, television, books and music.

He just released his musical faves on both Twitter and Instagram—and many are praising Obama for being so musically well-rounded. Lizzo, Beyoncé, Lil Nas X, Frank Ocean and Alicia Keys are among the artists featured on Obama’s list of his favorite songs from 2019.

Lizzo’s “Juice,” Beyonce’s “Mood 4 Eva,” the Lil Nas X and Billy Ray Cyrus collaboration “Old Town Road (Remix),” Springsteen’s “Hello Sunshine,” Frank Ocean’s “In My Room,” and Alicia Keys and Miguel’s “Show Me Love” all made the list. Additionally, so did Summer Walker’s “Playing Games,” Daddy Yankee, J Balvin, Farruko and Anuel AA collaboration “Baila Baila Baila (Remix),” J. Cole’s “Middle Child,” and Solange’s “Binz.”

In conjunction with his musical favorites list, Obama also created a Spotify playlist with all the featured songs. You may recall back in June, Obama and wife Michelle signed a deal with Spotify to produce and host podcasts. The partnership with Spotify comes through the couple’s Higher Ground production banner, which is already producing several shows with Netflix. Higher Ground is now launching a podcast division, Higher Ground Audio, through which the Obamas will develop, produce and lend their voices to select shows for Spotify.

Roommates, what are your thoughts on this?
