Aaliyah Recently Made Headlines By Way Of Dame Dash Speaking On R. Kelly
As The Shade Room previously reported, Aaliyah most recently made headlines by way of her former boyfriend, Dame Dash, speaking on his affiliation with R. Kelly. In October, Dash reflected on his time working alongside Jay-Z and their appearance in Kelly’s ‘Fiesta’ music video.
“…when Jay was proceeding to still do business with R. Kelly, I went back and told Aaliyah, like, ‘Yo, they’re still doing projects, they got singles together, they’re shooting videos. I don’t want to go to the video. I don’t want to be or have any parts of it,'” Dash recalled.
Despite his discomfort and the allegations concerning Kelly and Aaliyah, Dash explained how Aaliyah’s response led him to still make the appearance in ‘Fiesta.’
