BBC Radio Host Fired After Reportedly Comparing The Royal Baby To A Monkey In A Tweet

Roommates, we all know that children are off limits when it comes to rude commentary. But, some people just can’t help themselves! BBC Radio broadcaster Danny Baker is one of them.
Baker has officially been let go from his position at BBC after posting a racist tweet about Prince Harry ad Meghan Markle’s baby boy, CNN reports.
The former BBC radio presenter reportedly tweeted a black and white photo of a man and woman holding hands with a chimpanzee in a suit and top hat, with the caption “Royal baby leaves hospital. He claims it was all a misunderstanding.
“It was supposed to be a joke about Royals vs circus animals in posh clothes but interpreted as about monkeys and race, so rightly deleted,” he said. “Royal watching not my forte. I made an enormous mistake.”
A spokesperson for BB released a statement of Danny’s dismissal from the radio show.
“This was a serious error of judgement and goes against the values we as station aim to embody. Danny’s a brilliant broadcaster but will no . longer be presenting a weekly show with us,” the statement read.
Baker immediately responded in a tweet saying the company did not support him as a host, and that BBC “literally threw me under the bus.”
Prince Harry and Meghan’s baby boy Archie Harrison Mountbatten-Windsor was born early Monday morning, and the royal couple presented him to the world on Wednesday.
The two have made history, with baby Archie becoming the first biracial child in the royal family, which has since sparked a lot of racial tension for Meghan Markle.
We hope the royal family can live peacefully with their beautiful baby boy, even in the midst of hatred!
