Benzino Speaks On Viral Video With His GF

The viral clip shows Benzino on the floor of a house, yelling and in an extreme emotional state. In the clip, his alleged girlfriend records him while saying, “I’ll them no, okay?” and “stop.” At one point, Benzino gets up off the floor and sits in a corner, still apparently in tears. You can also still hear the woman saying, “Just give me the knife.” She even yells “no” as Benzino seemingly holds a knife in his hand, she then continued telling him “I’ll let them know you’re calm, I’ll call them back.” The video had folks thinking Benzino was trying to harm himself since he allegedly held the knife close to his throat.

After the video circulated online, Benzino jumped on Instagram to clear the air and clarify what went down in the clip. He made sure to let everyone know he was “okay” and that the video was just “a rehearsal for a Tubi movie.”

“My girl was helping me out, we were doing a script reading and that was a rehearsal for a Tubi movie. That was a scene for a Tubi movie,” the rapper explained.

Additionally, Benzino shut down the assault claims, saying he’d never lay a hand on a woman. Furthermore, he made it clear he’d never do anything to hurt himself.

“I’ve never done that in my life. That’s for cowards. And I surely wouldn’t do anything to hurt myself. So, shoutout to all the people that was concerned. I’m okay,” he continued.
