Chileeee! Paul Wall is outchea hilariously recalling the moment he found out what race he was.
Recently, Paul Wall pulled up to ‘The Breakfast Club’ and revealed he didn’t realize he was white until white folks started telling him he was. He shared how white people would come up to him saying, “You white, why you talk and act like that?” and it always left him confused.
The Texas spitter said the moment hit him when he was young, probably in elementary or middle school. Paul explained that he grew up in a super “diverse” neighborhood in Houston, Texas, surrounded by Black, Asian and Hispanic people.
He then joked with Charlamagne Tha God that he went home and “cried to his momma, calling her out for not telling him he was white.” Paul laughed with the morning crew and shared that his mom took a DNA test, which showed she’s “3% Black.” The ‘Sittin’ Sidewayz’ rapper went on to say that even though his mom took a test, he still hasn’t done one himself to officially learn about his background.
Social media users quickly flooded The Shade Room’s comment section, reacting to Paul Wall’s revelation. Many expressed that they didn’t care about his race and still have love for him no matter what.
