Now you know we can’t get enough of #BlackTwitter–it is undefeated every time and has yet to let us down! Now, it’s the focal point of a study being launched by BET and Twitter.
As quoted by Global Grind, “Black Twitter can no longer be ignored,” and so the study is set to look closely at things like hashtag trends, more specifically, “tweets and retweets that have been posted since 2014.”
Results for the three years worth of tweets will reportedly be released some time in June.
According to Global Grind, “As of now, findings show a trend towards live tweeting reactions to TV. This takes TV viewing, often a solitary activity, into a social event.”
