Last night the Carters stopped in Columbia, South Carolina for their On The Run II Tour.
After the show, the citys Mayor Steve Benjamin presented Beyonc and Jay-Z with the key to the city.
According to Fox 8, the mayors honor was given to the couple in recognition for their humanitarian and cultural contributions.
Benjamin took to Twitter and said, It was wonderful to have a chance to recognize the humanitarian and cultural contributions of Mr. & Mrs. Carter. August 21st was officially Beyonc Knowles Carter & Shawn Carter Day in Columbia, SC.
Congrats to the Carters on their latest honor.
