Bhad Bhabie has been checked into a rehab facility as she seeks help for a number of things.
According to TMZ, the 17-year-old checked herself into an undisclosed facility and has been there for the past few weeks. According to the site, it was revealed that she was receiving treatment for a number of things, including past trauma from her childhood, and also substance abuse in the form of prescription pills.
A source connected to the rapper included that her team was aware of the severity of the issue, which is why they made the decision to seek help. So far she is doing well and is “optimistic about her progress,” and could be in there for 30-90 days.
Her management said to the site, “We are very proud of Danielle for recognizing that she needed help and seeking it out.”
In the past, Bhad Bhabie has made headlines for her actions on social media. Recently she made headlines as people started to notice that she appeared to have a darker complexion. As we previously reported, she took to social media to explain that it was her makeup that caused her to have a deeper tone than usual.
Given her recent silence, many people were looking to hear what Bhad Bhabie had to say about the recent protests that have taken place since the killing of George Floyd.
However, she made a return to social media to post a black square in honor of #BlackOutTuesday.
On Wednesday, Bhad Bhabie’s team released an official statement and said, “Danielle has been working hard for the past few years and made a positive decision to take some much needed time off to attend to some personal issues.”
