Hey #Roommates, are yall checking for new music from #BigBoi? Because he’s reportedly joining forces with L.A. Reid again as he signs with L.A.’s new label, #Hitco.
Some of y’all may remember that L.A. departed ways with Sony back in May 2017 after some sexual misconduct allegations surfaced, but leaving the company apparently didn’t stop his grind in the industry. Variety reports that he and fellow Arista veteran, Charles Goldstuck have secured close to $100M to launch the label. They furthermore have plans to put offices in New York, Los Angeles, and Atlanta.
Hitco may be new, but they’re already working! According to reports, Hitco is putting in work to radio Big Boi’s “All Night.” You may remember that song from Apple’s Animoji Yourself ad. The label has also secured distribution through EMPIRE, which is an independent company that played a part in pushing hits like D.R.A.M and Lil Yachty’s “Broccoli,” and Fat Joe and Remy Ma’s “All The Way Up.”
