After weeks of online speculation, Big Boogie addressed the status of his relationship with Carmen Elena during an appearance on Cam Newton’s ‘Funky Friday’ podcast. During the hourlong conversation, the rapper confirmed the couple had gone their separate ways, explaining that he was not accustomed to navigating a relationship under constant public attention. He also acknowledged the toll the situation took on his mental health.
“I felt like I was losing myself mentally,” Big Boogie shared, adding that the nonstop discourse surrounding their relationship created an energy he no longer wanted in his life.
