Big Sean Talks About Kanye West, His Deal With ‘G.O.O.D. Music,’ Being Owed Millions Of Dollars & More On ‘Drink Champs’

There seems to be a lot when it comes to the relationship between Big Sean and Kanye West. Last month, Ye appeared on “Drink Champs” and revealed that one of the worst things he did was sign Sean to his G.O.O.D. Music. Now, Sean is sharing his viewpoint when it comes to their relationship. He talks about his loyalty throughout the years, being owed millions of dollars and more.

Big Sean got candid with N.O.R.E. and DJ ENF about his relationship with Kanye and said, “Being signed to Kanye is a golden opportunity. He changed my life and I love him for that. But every time Kanye has called on me, every single time, no matter what I was doing, within one day’s notice I’m wherever he’s at. Whether it’s to contribute to him in the studio, whether it’s to contribute a line, write a verse for him, he just maybe take parts of the verse, maybe the whole verse, maybe just to help with his vibe.”

He continued to explain that, he has shown support for Kanye whether musically, or politically, so he was thrown off by Kanye’s previous comments on “Drink Champs.”

Sean continued to say, “Yeah I’ve been loyal because I feel like I’m the only one who stayed that long from G.O.O.D. Music, so yeah it affected me personally bro. He texted me the next day and said, ‘I wanna meet with you and your mom to begin healing on both sides.’ I took it too personally because you publicly humiliated me when I’ve been down for you.”

While discussing his loyalty to Kanye, Sean also shared that his manager took a look at his contract from G.O.O.D. Music, and said it was one of the worst deals he’s ever seen. “My manager saw my record deal, and said, ‘This is a sh**ty record deal.’ I will never say that though because why? It was an opportunity, I could work my way out of anything.”

Sean also shared that he had an auditor look at his books for his label and he learned that he is owed millions of dollars from G.O.O.D. Music. “I’m owed $6 million and from Kanye West’s label G.O.O.D. Music,” he said.

As previously reported, during his “Drink Champs,” interview, Kanye said, “I’m saying that the worst thing I’ve ever done is sign Big Sean.”

Sean would later simply respond to his comment saying, “I love Kanye, bro. I love him for the opportunity he gave me and all those things but I thought what he said was some b**ch a** s**t. F**k this s**t, f**k what he talkin’ ’bout.”
