Bill Cosby, also jokingly known as “Pill Cosby,” has decided to sue the women who have accused him of sexual assault/rape.
Even though he has denied the accusations many times and has never been criminally charged, his attorney Monique Pressley, released a statement on the countersuit.
The statement reveals that he has gone after the Massachusetts accusers Tamara Green, Therese Serignese, Linda Traitz, Louisa Moritz, Barbara Bowman, Joan Tarshis and Angela Leslie. He claims the “false…opportunistic allegations have caused him to suffer loss of jobs and “mortification.”
He is suing them for defamation of character for their “malicious, opportunistic, and false and defamatory accusations of sexual misconduct against him.”
He had a comedy special that Netflix was supposed to air last year, but got postponed. There was also a comedy with NBC that was shelved.
In the midst of all of this, Boston University decided to revoke Cosby’s honorary degree that he recovers back in May 2014.
