Y’all, #Birdman is on the giving side a lawsuit this week! He has accused #LloydsOfLondon insurance company of refusing to cover damages to his home in Miami after #HurricaneIrma. This is the same insurance company that was just ordered to pay #KanyeWest $10 Million over Saint Pablo Tour cancellations after battling it out in court for a year.
The home in question is also the same home that Birdman reportedly lost possession of in January after he defaulted on a $12 million loan. In court documents obtained by The Blast, Birdman claims that this Miami mansion sustained wind and water damage from the hurricane on September 10, 2017. He figures that he was covered by Lloyd’s and requested a copy of his policy to confirm, however they never handed it over.
Per the documents, Birdman says that Lloyd’s “failed and underpaid benefits necessary to repair” his house. He is demanding that they honor the insurance policy since he notified them in a timely manner. The Cash Money CEO is also seeking an unspecified amount of money in damages and attorneys fees.
