Boosie is calling for public protests after prosecutors in his federal gun case reportedly refused to honor his bond release. As The Shade Room previously reported, he was granted a $50,000 bond after being arrested by federal agents last week.

Boosie Takes To Twitter To Share An Update & Call On Protests

On Wednesday evening, Boosie took to Twitter to share a lengthy update regarding his bond and pending release.

The rapper explained that although he satisfied the $50,000 bond amount, prosecutors on his case refused to “respect” the judge’s decision to release him.

“After the judge has granted me a bond, and I paid my full cash amount the prosecution refuse to respect the judges decision to let me go…”

Boosie explained that prosecutors have no reason to suspect him as a “flight risk or a danger to the community.”

Additionally, the rapper went on to accuse one of the prosecutors of “singing Wipe Me Down… with a look of evil in his eyes.”

“The prosecutor Mr. wheat looked at me singing Wipe Me Down, wiped his shoulders and shook his head with a look of evil in his eyes. This is total misconduct from a prosecutor…”

Boosie then accused one of the prosecutors of being “racist” and explained that they had filed another appeal requesting the judge keep him in prison.

“He is racist and has evil intentions. Now they filed an appeal asking another judge to keep me in prison…”

Boosie ended his tweet by explaining that he needs the public to “protest” the “injustice” that is happening to him.

“I need the people of San Diego outside the court tomorrow to protest the injustice that is being done to me. I need ALL prayer warriors across the world to pray this southern district of California remove Mr. wheat and this prosecution off my case. Even my attorneys have never seen nothing like this in their career. Help Me Fight this Injustice and say a prayer for my freedom tomorrow.”

After the judge has granted me a bond, and I paid my full cash amount the prosecution refuse to respect the judges decision to let me go. They showed no evidence of me being a flight risk or a danger to the community.

As of Thursday morning, Boosie has not returned to his Twitter account with an update regarding the matter. According to VladTV, a “new judge” must review the prosecution’s appeal “before he is released.”

More Details Regarding The Rapper’s Bond, Arrest & Federal Charges

As The Shade Room previously reported, a “contentious hearing” was held Tuesday where U.S. Magistrate Judge Allison Goddard granted Boosie a $50,000 bond.

During the hearing, prosecutors argued that the rapper is a flight risk. Meanwhile, his legal team argued that the charges against Boosie are “unnecessary federal prosecution.”

At the time, Boosie’s bond release date was left unclear.

Before this, it was revealed that federal agents arrested the 40-year-old rapper due to him being seen on Instagram Live with a gun in his waistband. Additionally, the rapper was reportedly traveling with the weapon in May, as per authorities.

These findings then led to Boosie being arrested outside of a San Diego courthouse last week on charges of possessing a weapon by a felon.
