Ye, Formerly Known As Kanye West, Reveals He Was Intimate With His Cousin As A Child

On Monday, April 21, Ye took to X, formerly known as Twitter, to share a tweet accompanied by a video that has now garnered over 11 million views to date. Furthermore, the video featured an apparent song with Ye’s vocals. On the track, he raps about hanging out with his cousin and “reenacting” scenes from “dirty magazines.” Ultimately, on the track, Ye repeats that he performed oral sex on his cousin and now knows that the world will “judge” him for the revelation.

To note, Ye also acknowledges informing others of the revelation and being urged to keep the information to himself. Instead, he explains that he believes the truth will set you free.

“This song is called COUSINS about my cousin thats locked in jail for life for killing a pregnant lady a few years after I told him we wouldnt ‘look at dirty magazines together’ anymore Perhaps in my self centered mess I felt it was my fault that I showed him those dirty magazines when he was 6 and then we acted out what we saw My dad had playboy magazines but the magazines I found in the top of my moms closet were different My name is Ye and I s****d my cousins d**k till I was 14 Tweet sent,” the rapper wrote.

More On The Recent Actions Of Ye, Formerly Known As Kanye West

Ye’s remarks about his cousin aren’t the first time he’s shocked the internet in recent months. As The Shade Room previously reported, in March, he took to X to share a now-deleted tweet about Beyonc and Jay-Z’s youngest children. Subsequently, social media users deemed Ye’s words “disgusting,” “horrible,” “unnecessary,” and “unprovoked.”

Furthermore, one social media user even noted that Ye’s words made them “sick” to their stomach. Around the same time, Ye also made headlines by reflecting on the grief he experienced after his mother’s death in 2007.
