Two things about Boosie, he gon’ speak his mind and ride for his people! Over the last few days, the ‘Wipe Me Down’ rapper hasn’t taken well to some statements made by Kanye West, and he went OFF on the Yeezy founder on Twitter.
As we previously reported, Kanye had the innanet in a frenzy after he was spotted wearing a ‘White Lives Matter’ shirt at his YZY SZN 9 presentation in Paris. Shortly after, Ye seemingly defended his decision by posting a message calling the Black Lives Matter movement a “scam”, and Boosie had had enough.
In a couple of tweets, Boosie condemned Ye for speaking ill of a movement geared toward the betterment of Black people and even accused the rapper and fashion designer of going against his own race.

Boosie followed up that tweet with a photoshopped picture of Kanye West with much lighter skin, encouraging him to “Just do it!!”

Ye has yet to address the Louisiana rapper, but he has been taking some time to respond to other folks spewing backlash his way. Kanye also took to Instagram to smooth things over after he called out Vogue’s Global Fashion Editor Gabriella Karefa-Johnson, who criticized his WLM t-shirt.
After making commentary about her position at Vogue, and attempting to clown her fashion choices, Ye explained that he did apologize to Gabriella in a private meeting.
SHE EXPRESSED THAT HER COMPANY DID NOT INSTRUCT HER TO SPEAK ON MY T-SHIRT EXPRESSION. WE APOLOGIZED TO EACH OTHER FOR THE WAY WE MADE EACH OTHER FEEL WE ACTUALLY GOT ALONG AND HAVE BOTH EXPERIENCED THE FIGHT FOR ACCEPTANCE IN A WORLD THAT’S NOT OUR OWN. SHE DISAGREED I DISAGREED WE DISAGREED.”
Vogue Magazine also released a statement in support of Karefa-Johnson, in which the company stated that she was “targeted and bullied” by Kanye.
