Boosie Previously Beefed With Rod Wave Online
The 43-year-old artist got into an online feud with ‘Great Gatsby‘ artist Rod Wave after his appearance on ‘Club Shay Shay‘ last month. Wave and Boosie had sampling disputes beginning in 2023.
Boosie called out artists who’d sampled his music, including Wave. Wave sampled his track ‘Long Journey‘ back in 2023, allegedly without permission. Subsequently, Hatch threatened to file a lawsuit, and Wave was asked about it on ‘Club Shay Shay.’
Wave said that he had tried to show the rapper “love” with the track, but the experience left him with a “bad taste” in his mouth.
Chile, Boosie popped OFF on Wave following the interview.
“You owe everybody,” he began. “Stop playing victim… that was your fourth or fifth time doing what you did to my records….. Showing love woulda been popping off when I ask you…. Showing love woulda been reaching out to work worth me.”
Wave responded, saying he’d offered Boosie $100,000.
“You broke my heart threatening me with a lawsuit,” he added. “You threatening with a lawsuit? You threatening to take me to court? …. You b*tch. You ain’t no gangster. You ain’t nothing. You try to take me to court.”
Boosie replied, claiming that ChatGPT noted that Wave allegedly has 31 tracks sampled from other artists.
