Recently, Nicole Ari Parker started to make headlines after a clip of her and Boris’ discussion with fellow actor Chris Spencer and his wife Vanessa, started to make its rounds as they discussed relationships.
In the clip, Nicole talked about missing the freshness and newness of a relationship, as she reminisced about the time she and Boris were dating.
Nicole said, “Sometime in the last year or so I thought, I wish that he was my boyfriend again. I don’t necessarily want to be single, but I miss the single life, I miss the text messages for no reason, I miss the coming up behind me when I’m scrambling eggs and just kissing me on the back of the neck.”
She continued to talk about the freshness and newness that comes with being in a new relationship. That led many people to believe that Nicole and Boris may be going through some marital issues.
However, Boris shut the rumors down as he stood firmly behind his wife’s statement.
He said, “When you can’t believe all of the Quarantine crazy chit chat. Come on ya’ll, really?! Okay, first of all, you’re comping on a short clickbait 1-minute slice of a hilarious hour-long conversation on our best friends’ new show. Second of all this part was meant to give hope to those who’ve been together for a long a** time.”
“Third of all,” Boris continued. “My wife was right! Boyfriend and girlfriend time matters, take care of each other, show each other, love each other, time is not promised.”
