Boston Richey must’ve seen the comments and speculation about his new look because he took to social media with a few questions of his own. On Friday, July 31, the Florida rapper shared a tweet questioning why people automatically assumed his weight loss meant he was stressed rather than simply that he was hitting the gym:
“Why losing weight getting in the gym got to be me stressing…”
And he didn’t stop there. Richey followed up with several more posts addressing the narratives surrounding his appearance.
“Top player I let yall run with whatever narrative yall want f*** ya idc to clear sh**,” he wrote in another tweet. Richey also appeared to react to speculation that he may have used Ozempic, writing, “ain’t gone bap ozempic is crazy 😂.” In another post, he seemingly reminded fans that he wasn’t significantly heavier before his recent weight loss, writing, “B**** act like I was 300 pounds…”
