We all know Bow Wow has been in the game for decades, some folks have watched him grow up, while others may feel like they have grown up with him throughout the years. Now Bow Wow says he wants the recognition for all that he’s done in the game, opposed to being recognized for his accomplishments once he’s a little bit more up there in age.
On Tuesday, Bow answered some questions from fans and one person asked, “You think you deserve to be in the Hall of Fame?” Bow Wow responded and said, “Absolutely. BET should honor me next year at the Hip Hop awards. I don’t want them to wait til I’m 44 years old. Plus I’ll be the youngest artist in history to get that award ever.”
However, he wasn’t done there. Another person shared they agreed, but also disagreed with his statement, saying it may be a lttle too soon for him to recieve that kind of recongnition, “Go look up my stats and see what I’ve done my whole career,” he said. “And you tell me why it can’t be sooner.”
The opinions did not stop there. Someone else tweeted Bow Wow and said, ‘There are many who deserve it more than you if that’s the case.” Bow Wow clapped back and said, “Not at BET! That’s my house. They had to create a show after me and named me after that ma***** we had labels calling them like I need Bow Wow treatment. I ran a network before I work there. BET stands for BOW ENTERTAINMENT TELEVISION. Hell you thought.”

Many people know Bow Wow earned the title of Mr. 106 & Park after he became the first artist to have a video retired on the video countdown show at BET. He would would later return to the show to serve as one of the final hosts. He took over hosting duities in 2012, all the way up until the show ended in 2014.
Bow Wow took his fans down memory lane earlier this year as he headlined the Millennium Tour alongside Omarion.
