Earlier we reported that Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie are headed their separate ways after two years of marriage, but over 10 years of being together.
Angelina filed for divorce from Brad citing irreconcilable differences. She is seeking full physical custody of their 6 kids, and legal custody and visitation from Brad.
In a statement to People Magazine, Brad Pitt said, “I am very saddened by this, but what matters most now is the wellbeing of our kids. I kindly ask the press to give them the space they deserve during this challenging time.”
Angelina also made a statement through the her manager Geyer Kosinki who told E! News that she wants to do what’s in the best interest to her family.
He said, “Angelina will always do what’s in the best interest of taking care of her family. She appreciates everyone’s understanding of their need for privacy at this time.”
