Britney Spears and her sister Jamie Lynn have seemed to share their reactions to news of Spear’s husband, Sam Asghari, filing for divorce. As The Shade Room previously reported, the pair have recently split after 14 months of marriage.

Sam Asghari Files For Divorce From Britney Spears After News Of Their Split Goes Public
According to TMZ, Asghari filed for divorce from Spears on Wednesday. Additionally, the outlet reports that Ashgari has cited “irreconcilable differences” as the reason for ending their 14-month union.
TMZ reports that Asghari seeks spousal support and compensation for his attorney fees.
Furthermore, the outlet also alleges that Asghari plans to contest the prenup agreement between him and Spears. The prenup reportedly “maintains” Spear’s assets “as separate property.”
“[Sam Asghari] has yet to determine the full nature and extent of the separate property assets and obligations of each party,” the document reads, as per TMZ. “There are various items of community and quasi-community assets and debts, the full nature and extent of which are unknown to [Sam Asghari] at this time.”
According to the outlet, Asghari has listed the date of separation from Spears as July 28, 2023.
Jamie Lynn & Britney Spears Seemingly React To The Divorce Filing
Reports of Spears and Ashgari’s split began to surface on Wednesday afternoon, as reported by The Shade Room. Spears and Asghari had reportedly got into a heated argument regarding Spear’s alleged infidelity “about a week ago.”
Since the argument, Asghari was reported to have moved out of their residence.
Additionally, TMZ alleged that Asghari was previously not sleeping “much” at their home as the couple had been engaged in “frequent screaming matches.” The arguments were reportedly sparked by Spear’s “erratic” behavior and allegedly grew to be violent.
Spears has taken to social media since the news of her divorce and separation has gone public. The 41-year-old seemingly ignored the reports and shared an Instagram post letting her fans know she’s contemplating “buying a horse.”
“Buying a horse soon 🐴 !!! So many options it’s kinda hard !!! A horse called Sophie and another called Roar 🐎 ??? I can’t make up my mind 🙈 !!! Should I join the camaraderie and put a pink cowboy hat on 😜 ??? Either way I think I found my sweet spot with Roar 😘 !!!”

Furthermore, Spear’s younger sister, Jamie Lynn Spears, seemingly reacted to the news of Britney’s divorce. According to E News, Spears “liked” an Instagram post made by PEOPLE, which shared the news of their separation.
As The Shade Room previously reported, the former couple wed in June 2022 after becoming engaged in September 2021. Spears and Asghari reportedly began dating after meeting in 2017, as per PEOPLE.
