Y’all remember back in August when Busta Rhymes caught a case after he got “staticky” with gym employee? Well if you don’t, the “Give Me Some More” rapper had gotten into it with an employee at Steel’s Gym in NYC which ended with Busta busting the employee in the head with a protein shake, leaving the employee with a bruised forehead and Busta with a second-degree assault charge!
Well according to the New York Times, Busta has pleaded guilty to the charges which seems like a smart move since he will be avoiding jail time now.
Busta Rhyme’s, whose real name is Trevore Tahiem Smith Jr., decision to plead guilty reduced his second-degree charge to harassment as well as landed him a spot in anger management. His attorney stated that he will not be “warranted” with any additional charges based upon the summary of the entire incident. Rhyme’s spent one night in jail and has completed several days of anger management courses which is enough to end that Muscle Milk brawl.
“The criminal charges, especially charging him with a felony, was a bunch of bull,”Rhyme’s attorney Scott Leemon says. “Busta and I are glad the district attorney’s office agreed to drop all the criminal charges.”
Busta was seen smiling from ear to ear after he left the Manhattan court and his fans seemed to boost his ego as well as NYT reported one man in handcuffs jumped up and down yelling, “That’s Busta!” “That’s Busta!”
One reporter tried forcing her way towards Rhyme’s presence and his bodyguard had to give the rap mogul enough space to walk and Rhyme’s bust out and said, “You that aggressive with your man?” Busta! What it is right now?! Damn, how “aggressive” was she? Let’s not have another milk carton incident! At least for the time being.
