Caitlyn Jenner Says Trans Girls Who Were Biologically Born As Boys Should Not Compete In All-Female Sports In School

Recently Caitlyn Jenner announced her run for governor in California, and while she was out, TMZ caught up with her and asked her opinion about legislation’s consideration to ban transgender athletes from competing in certain sports based on their gender identity.

When asked about her thoughts on the states that are trying to ban students who were biologically born as boys and that are now transgender girls, from competing in girls’ sports, Caitlyn said, “There’s a question of fairness. That’s why I oppose biological boys who are trans competing in girls’ sports in school. It just isn’t fair, and we have to protect girl sports in our schools.”

As many of you know, Caitlyn Jenner was an Olympic gold medal-winning decathlon prior to her transition into a woman.

Caitlyn later doubled down on her stance and responded to the interview on Twitter and said, “I didn’t expect to get asked this on my Saturday morning coffee run, but I’m clear about where I stand. It’s an issue of fairness and we need to protect girls’ sports in our schools.”

As we previously reported, last week, Caitlyn announced that she filed the paperwork to run for governor of California.

She said in a statement, “I am a proven winner and the only outsider who can put an end to Gavin Newsom‘s disastrous time as governor.”
