Early Thursday (August 22), photos surfaced online of a car crashing through the wall of a parking garage. The incident reportedly occurred in the northwest area of Washington, D.C., above a Whole Foods store.

Despite the WILD images of the vehicle hanging out of the garage, local reports say no one was hurt in the incident.

According to ABC7, most of the damage from the crash was cosmetic to the parking garage and store below it. Photos show both front wheels of the car hanging off the edge of a fallen wall and railings.

The outlet reports that the crash happened sometime before 9 a.m. on Thursday, above Whole Foods and Wawa.

D.C. Fire and EMS shared the circulating photos to their X (formerly Twitter) account, revealing their assessment. “Technical rescue vehicle partially off parking garage 4500 block 40th St NW. No injuries. Significant cosmetic damage but no structural stability issues,” the update read.

Additionally, the Washington D.C. emergency responders revealed that the utilities in the impacted building were “controlled” and that they had established a “safety zone” despite the lack of injuries.

Despite the shocking footage, it remains unclear how the crash occurred and whether the driver was under any influence. Local press also hasn’t identified the driver and vehicle owner or whether they have been detained or charged with any crimes.

In mid-July, Brandon Casey revealed to his fans that he’d been in a serious car crash. He didn’t divulge how the accident occurred. However, unlike the incident with the car and the D.C. parking garage, Brandon did suffer injuries.

Staff at the Grady Memorial Hospital in Atlanta, Georgia, treated him for five days in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU). The Jagged Edge star sustained full-body lacerations, pain, a broken neck, broken ribs, and skull fractures, to name a few of his injuries.

Photos show his vehicle completely smashed on the driver’s side from the front door to the gas tank.
