The Incarcerated Rapper Recently Gave Back For The Holidays
Despite his time away, Casanova has still been active in giving back to the community. According to The Source, the 36-year-old sponsored a Thanksgiving event at the Children of Promise non-profit organization in Brooklyn, New York. The purpose of the event was to “partner with children and families impacted by mass incarceration.” And promote healing in Black and brown communities.
The event was promoted on the rapper’s Instagram page.
Always give without remembering and always receive without forgetting, I hope that dont go over your head. @childrenofpromisenyc I’m excited!
Footage of the event was also shared by Casanova’s longtime spouse, Jasmere Corbett, known on social media as Swaggy Jazzy.
To move forward, you have to give back. Free @bigcasanova_2x. Thank you for having us @childrenofpromisenyc.
Casanova also sent in a video message for the children at the event.
Children of Promise, we giving back. We don’t stop giving back behind bars. You know what it is.
Roommates, what do you think about this?
