CDC Now Urges Americans To Wear Face Masks To Protect From COVID-19

After weeks of advising us not to wear masks, it seems CDC  has changed its stance. According to @npr, we are now advised to wear masks, while out in public.

In a news conference, President Donald Trump stated the CDC suggested this because many of the carriers are asymptomatic and don’t know they have the disease.

There’s not much of a guideline, other than “cloth face coverings fashioned from household items or made at home from common materials at low cost can be used as an additional, voluntary public health measure.”

Donnie also made us aware that it is not required and he will not be wearing the mask himself, even though the CDC now suggests that we should. The sudden change is because researchers now know more about the virus.
