Early Life
Marlo Hampton was born on February 7th, 1976, in Florida. She had a pretty rough upbringing after the untimely death of her younger brother Curtis. She attributes her success and hardworking attitude in memoriam of her brother.
She studied social work, striving to help people in need, and got a bachelor’s degree in Interdisciplinary Science and Social Work from the University of Southern Florida. Her studies would reflect on her professional career significantly, as she says that foster children and social cases are some of the biggest driving forces of her career.
Career
In 2008, Marlo opened a high-end fashion boutique in Atlanta, Georgia. She has since joined the cast of the popular TV show, Real Housewives of Atlanta. After joining the show, she has garnered quite a lot of support for herself and her numerous businesses.
Marlo is a fashion guru, designer, and vlogger. She is a well-known connoisseur of all things glamorous, and that is obvious to everyone and anyone who follows Marlo in her very publicized life.
She operates her own website, where she sells her unique and stylish merchandise and clothing line and writes a blog alongside all her social media profiles.
In the News
When she was 23, Marlo was arrested for aggravated assault. This scandal has only brought her back into the public eye, setting the stage for her appearance in the newest season of the hit TV show, Real Housewives of Atlanta.
She is also known for her rivalry with her fellow co-star, NeNe Leaks.
