According to the prosecutors’ brief, D4vd allegedly arranged for Celeste to be transported to his home on April 23, 2025. It was also revealed that the two had a tense exchange the night before.
The legal brief highlights alleged text messages that investigators believe marked a shift in their relationship and may help establish a motive. Prosecutors allege D4vd “stabbed” Celeste multiple times after she threatened to expose their inappropriate and illegal relationship. Furthermore, he allegedly remained at the scene as she was dying before attempting to conceal what occurred. They further claim he placed her body in an inflatable pool in an effort to contain the evidence inside the garage. According to the filing, D4vd later used a chainsaw to dismember the 14-year-old’s body and further conceal evidence.
