It looks like 2024 is shaping up to be the year of breakups. Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson’s fiance, Sharelle Rosado, has announced they’ve called it quits. Previously, TSR reported that the couple got engaged in January 2023.
On Saturday, October 26, Sharelle Rosado hit her X (formerly Twitter) followers with a bombshell, confirming that she and Chad have split. The ‘Selling Tampa’ star even slipped in a lil’ shade, letting the ladies know the NFL player is back on the market.
“Chad and I are no longer together please stop tagging us. He is a free man ladies,” Sharelle wrote.
Chad hasn’t spoken about the breakup yet, but he did share a screenshot of Sharelle’s tweet on his IG Story on Saturday.
The Roomies wasted no time hitting up The Shade Room comment section with their takes on Sharelle and Chad’s breakup.

In January 2023, TSR reported that Chad “Ochocinco” Johnson proposed to Sharelle Rosado on January 7. The retired NFL star surprised her with the engagement during an early birthday party for himself, according to PEOPLE. After the proposal, Sharelle told the outlet that getting engaged marked the next step in their “beautiful journey together.”
Before the big question, the couple welcomed a baby girl in January 2022, as TSR noted. They announced the pregnancy in August 2021, and Chad confirmed their daughter’s arrival with an Instagram post, saying, “Just delivered Serenity ‘Hurricane’ Paula Johnson,” along with a footprint emoji. Serenity became Sharelle’s fourth child and Chad’s eighth.
