Following Chanel Iman and Davon Godchaux revealing that they’re having a baby girl, the happy couple has announced their engagement!

Davon Proposed To Chanel During Their Italian Babymoon
Chanel shared the exciting news early Tuesday morning. On Instagram, the 32-year-old posted about her engagement to her 28-year-old partner — whom she called her “soulmate, protector and best friend.”
Iman also declared, “One of the best gifts is a [lifetime] of adventures…the best memories are yet to come.”
This warm message was accompanied by photos from their babymoon in Capri, Italy. Most pictures Chanel shared showed them boo’d up within a classic Fiat convertible. In other words, they really embraced the Italian vibes during their vaycay!

Davon Godchaux Speaks On How Much He Appreciates Chanel Iman: “We Are In This Together”
As for Davon, the New England Patriots athlete proclaimed that he was “nervous ahh hell” in another post.
He also admitted, “I never thought I would be getting down on one knee but LOVE will make you do some amazing things in life!”
After these reflective messages, he expressed his love for Chanel. Davon also took a moment to acknowledge how her family-oriented nature was “really important” to him before calling Chanel his “everything.”
“Chanel I love you so much and I wouldn’t have rather spend this moment with no one else by my side! From the moment we met I knew it was something about you and how much you value having a FAMILY that was really important to me! We are in this together and will always be, I love you from the bottom of my heart! My love, My fiancé, My everything!!”
He wrapped up his caption by writing, “What does not kill us only makes us stronger.” IKTR!

Shortly thereafter, Davon Godchaux shared another upload of him and Chanel Iman out and about while “Living the Italian dream.” So, it looks like it’s safe to say that their lil’ babymoon went well!

Chanel Iman & Davon Godchaux’s Blended Family Is Growing!
As The Shade Room previously reported, Chanel and Davon announced that they were expecting their first child together earlier this month.

About two weeks later, the couple shared that they were specifically expecting a baby girl, giving Chanel her third daughter.
Additionally, as Davon has a son from an earlier relationship, the reveal makes him a first-time girl dad.
