Another day, another recall #Roommates and this time it’s the sweet stuff. Check those cabinets and pantries because #ChipsAhoy’s chewy chocolate chip cookies are being recalled.

Mondelez Global LLC said it is recalling the 13-ounce packages of Chew Chips Ahoy cookies due to an “unexpected solidified ingredient,” @cnn reports.

According to Mondelez Global’s announcement, there have been reports of “possible adverse health effects” but the company has not responded to a request for further comment on the matter.

Mondelez said the recall extends throughout the U.S. and pertains to Chewy Chips Ahoy cookies with a “best when used by” date of September 7, 8, 14 and 15.

The dates can be found on the top left side of the package, near the lift tab. The packages in question have a retail UPC of 0 44000 03223 4.

No other Chips Ahoy products are affected by the recall.

The recalled chewy cookies should not be consumed, according to Mondelēz. For more information about the recall, the company asks that people call 1-844-366-1171.

Chips Ahoy is among just a few products that are currently under recall.

Tyson Foods recently recalled more than 69,000 pounds of frozen chicken strips that may have been contaminated with pieces of metal.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture says the ready-to-eat chicken strips in question were produced on Nov. 30 and shipped nationwide.

So if you know you copped a few bags that have been sitting in the freezer for a lil while, err on the side of caution and throw them out.

According to the USDA, Tyson is recalling several of its chicken strip products including: the plastic bag packages of the buffalo style chicken strips with the buffalo style sauce and their crispy chicken strips.

According to the USDA, there have been no confirmed reports of adverse reactions due to consumption of these products. “Anyone concerned about an injury or illness should contact a healthcare provider.”
