On Thursday, January 8, Chrisean Rock took to Instagram to express her gratitude following the announcement of her “first boxing deal.”

“Beyond grateful my first boxing deal is finally done @xrumble_fighting_ ŸŠŸ™Ÿ Thank you Jesus, thank you to my manager @kimberlyrossofficial and to my legendary coach @coachcalvinford for the love, patience, and belief. This journey means everything to me! Wassupppp Baltimore!!!” she wrote in part.

Additionally, Rock shared an exclusive statement with The Shade Room in response to Claressa Shields sending her support over her new chapter.

“Im extremely grateful and honored by her support. That really means a lot to me, especially coming from someone thats number 1 in womens boxing. Im going to keep working hard and staying disciplined Im looking forward to working out with her!” she stated.

As for who she’s planning to hop in the ring with for her first match, Rock says she’s “letting Yahweh lead every decision…”

More On Chrisean Rock’s Boxing Deal & Claressa Shields’ Support

Earlier this week, TMZ exclusively reported that Chrisean Rock inked a deal with XRumble Fighting Championships’ Boxing division. Per the outlet, Rock signed to take part in the company’s “first female Super Middleweight Championship.” The event is reportedly scheduled for Saturday, April 25, at Harrah’s Philadelphia Casino in Chester, PA.

Rock is reportedly being trained by Gervonta Davis’ trainer, Calvin Ford, and is seeking opponents between 160-170 pounds. Furthermore, on Thursday, Claressa Shields sent her blessing Rock’s way.
