Christian Coleman Speaks Out After His Girlfriend Sha’Carri Richardson’s Arrest Over Alleged Domestic Dispute
On Sunday, August 3, Citius Mag took to its official Instagram account to share footage of Coleman speaking about his girlfriend’s arrest. In the clip, Coleman explained that he feels like “it was just a sucky situation all around.”
“I don’t feel as if, like, she should’ve been arrested,” he explained. “… I mean, people have [inaudible] and emotions and stuff like that. She has, like, things she needs to work on for herself, of course. But so do I, so do you. Everybody.”
Ultimately, Coleman explained that he’s the “type of guy” who “extended grace, mercy, and love.” Additionally, instead of viewing the ordeal as an “obstacle,” Coleman said he will use it as an opportunity to step back and “analyze,” and “move forward.”

As The Shade Room previously reported, on Sunday, July 27, Sha’Carri Richardson was arrested for an alleged domestic violence altercation with Christian Coleman. Furthermore, the incident reportedly occurred at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport. And it included the pair getting into a “fiery argument,” per the New York Post. Richardson was reportedly seen shoving Coleman multiple times as he walked away from her.
Ultimately, Richardson was hit with a “fourth-degree domestic violence assault” offense. This, even though Coleman “declined to be a victim.” Richardson was reportedly released from custody on Monday, July 28.
