Early Thursday, Christina Milian’s boyfriend Matt Pokora received backlash from some fans as they interrupted a video that he posted of her daughter Violet in a certain way.
In the video, Violet is wearing Bantu knots in her hair, and on the video, Matt had the microbe emoji, laughing emoji and a heart emoji. He had an arrow pointing from the microbe emoji to Violet’s hair, and people assumed that he had been comparing her hair to a virus, seeing as how that emoji has been used to represent the coronavirus on social media.
However, many others thought that it was just a joke and was harmless, and Matt didn’t mean anything rude by the post.
Those who are familiar with Christina and her family know that Matt and Violet have an amazing relationship and treats her as his own. Christina and Matt welcomed their first child, a baby boy together earlier this year.
Hours later, Matt took to his Instagram story again to share videos of him and Violet to prove that he loves her, and he’s always shown his love and uplifted her despite what people may think.
