Roommates, the internet stays on detective modeand this time, a sweet family photo from Ciara and Russell Wilson had folks raising eyebrows and asking questions. The couple popped out at the U.S. Open with their kids looking cute and coordinated, but it wasnt just the outfits that caught attention. It was the mention of Ciara’s son, Future, with “Wilson” written as his last name in Russells caption that sent social media into a frenzy
Whew! Turns out the name switch-up wasnt a typo or pet name. According to TMZ, sources with direct knowledge confirm that Ciara legally added “Wilson” to her eldest sons name years ago. Ciara reportedly has full custody of 11-year-old Future Zahir, and while his full legal name still includes his fathers last name, Wilburn, the addition of Wilson is very much real. And now, thanks to that one little caption, fans know whats really been up and theyve got opinions.
The Shade Room comment section lit up after folks peeped the name change, and for once, everybody seemed to agree. Many praised Russell Wilson, saying hes been the true father figure in Future Zahirs life, while others pointed out that Future likely had to sign off on the legal update. Overall, fans called it a beautiful move, with some celebrating the fact that the entire Wilson family now shares the same last name.

While the internet is buzzing about Future Zahirs official name update, Ciara and Russells daughter, Sienna,recently stole the spotlight in the most unexpected (and hilarious) way. During a Billboard interview, Sienna asked Ciara if she knew her favorite song and when CiCi guessed ‘Level Up,’ our girl wasnt having it. No, Mom, say the real answer! she clapped back before proudly belting out “Ride!”Yes, that ‘Ride.’ Ciara playfully slumped in her chair like she wanted the Earth to swallow her, but couldnt hide how proud she was, either. Turns out Sienna fell in love with the track while on tour with her mom and its been on repeat ever since.
