Claressa Shields isn’t letting up on anyone who comes for her! That appears to be the case in her latest clapback against a Streetz 94.5 FM host,Mz. Shyneka Richardson. Shields spoke out after the host explained why she asked about Papoose in a recent interview in the manner she did. The boxing champ also addressed Eva Marcille for stepping in to defend the host.
As previously reported, Claressa Shields and Mz. Shyneka first met during an interview with Streetz 94.5 FM last week. Shields was on a press run for her upcoming fight on August 15. At one point, Shyneka pivoted the conversation to the boxer’s love life with Papoose. She admitted to being in the same position previously, then asked, “How much longer are you willing to be in a relationship with somebodys husband?”The question’s alleged tone didn’t sit well with Shields. She immediately clarified that Papoose filed for divorce because he’s serious about her. Additionally, she suggested Remy Ma should be held to the same moral high ground Papoose is being held to.
Most recently, Claressa popped up on social media with all the smoke for Mz. Shyneka and anyone stepping in to defend her. She took shots at Shyneka’s weight and her ex-marriage, to start. Moreover, she listed off reasons Papoose is dating her, from her natural body and face card to her success and how she shows up in the bedroom.
It appears that Mz. Shyneka caught wind of Claressa Shields’ clapback and hopped on the airwaves to explain herself. Shyneka said she asked the “somebody’s husband” question “from a place of care.” Also, she claimed she could “tell there’s more going on that meets the eye.”The radio host aded that she didn’t like how Shields was introduced to the world through text receipts from Remy Ma.
“…From people speaking on the way that she looks or the way that she dresses. I’m looking at this young successful lady and… I hate that for you. I hate that people are looking at you and your talent, but your drama in who you chose to love is overshadowing that. So, yes I wanted to know…I didn’t know she hadn’t been asked that before, but it was in my spirit.”
The radio host added that she didn’t plan the question by writing it out. She just followed instinct and asked. Also, Yung Joc weighed in, saying that he didn’t think the question regarding “somebody’s husband” was an attack. Swipe below to see more of Shyneka’s reaction to Claressa Shields’ rant.
