On Wednesday, March 25, ‘The Breakfast Club’ released a sit-down interview with Claressa Shields via its YouTube channel. Furthermore, the conversation began with the group discussing the song Shields recently wrote about Papoose. Additionally, Charlamagne Tha God noted that some people believe her actions fuel the “‘rumors that Pap is with Claressa because Claressa takes care of him — Claressa gives him money.'”
“What?” Shields initially responded. “… That’s how they paint out narratives. But I will tell you something, though: Pap pays my mortgage. Pap pays my car insurance, and my car note. And what else does he do? I haven’t paid for a flight or for a hotel in I don’t know how long — that’s a man right there!”
