Okay, so BOOM! A video of Claressa Shields flashing a diamond ring and talking about her future plans hit the net, making folks think Papoose popped the question. Claressa quickly shut down the speculation though, saying the footage was from a previous relationship where she was engaged to someone else. In the video, Shields says, “You see this big ring on my finger Bling! Bling! Bling! Engaged.” Even though the footage looks brand new, Claressa confirmed that it’s an old clip. “This video is from three years ago when I was engaged” Shields captioned the post. See the video here.

Claressa Gets Real About When She & Papoose Plan To Tie The Knot
Despite what folks think, Claressa already spoke on her and Pap’s future plans. Back in July, she chopped it up with ‘The Pivot’ podcase about where she stands on marriage and having a baby with Papoose. She said she wants a kid as soon as next year and plans to get right back to work after. But she’s not stopping at one — she wants another immediately after and then plans to get back to the grind again.
As for where her and Pap stand in their relationship, Shields shared that she never has to worry, because he stays holding her down no matter what. “For one he’s a great man. And I think it takes a certain type of strong man to be able to deal with me. And you know, deal with me.. inside the ring, outside the ring and getting ready for a fight.”
