Claudia Jordan sparked online chatter when her comments about Karrueche Tran and Deion Sanders went viral, and now shes setting the record straight. After a video dropped showing Karrueche emotional at Deions hospital bedside during his bladder surgery, social media went wild with speculations about their relationship. Claudia spilled some tea on her podcast, claiming Tracey Edmonds, Deions ex-fiance, once asked Karrueche if she was dating him, and Karrueche said, “No.” Now, with the internet reacting, Claudias stepping in to clear up the convo and give an update on where Karrueche and Tracey stand. TMZ caught up with Claudia outside a building in NYC, and she was ready to shut down the rumors about any bad blood between Tracey Edmonds and Karrueche Tran. Her comments on her Accidentally Informed podcast had people thinking there was shade. But she made sure to clarify. Tracey said, You always have my back. And just to be clear, she has no issue with Karrueche at all. She added that Tracey doesnt believe Karrueche stole Deion or did anything shady. Theres no beef, I adore both women, Jordan added.
Claudia also explained that the podcast convo was about women having real, grown-up talks. The fact that you can approach a woman and have a civil conversation. There wasnt any beef, there wasnt a fight, she said. Tracey has a lot of respect for Karrueche, she added, insisting that people made it a more sinister thing than it really was.
Claudia didnt just stop at TMZ. On Tuesday, August 26, she also addressed the matter on The Breakfast Club,’ touching on how Tracey felt about her speaking on it publicly. But she says the whole situation was blown way out of proportion. Recalling her chat with Tracey, Claudia shared:
I did ask her, I said, if I mentioned it, but I would keep some parts to myself. Shes like, Im okay with it, because I told her the bigger picture Im trying to convey. For Claudia, its all about women being upfront with each other. Women need to stop being mad at each other when these things happen. Be grown, theres nothing wrong with having a conversation, she expressed.
Additionally, she pushed back on social media takes that painted Tracey as pressed.” She also pointed out how some people said Karrueche and Tracey perhaps werent close enough for her to be spilling her business to her. I dont think you need to be a good friend of someone to give another fellow Black woman a heads up, Claudia argued, stressing that a little honesty goes a long way. What does it harm you to say, Actually, yeah, we are?
So, how did this tea get spilled in the first place? It all started when Claudia Jordan revealed on her podcast that Tracey confronted Karrueche at an event hosted by Niecy Nash. According to Claudia, Tracey had heard whispers about Karrueche and Deion Sanders and calmly asked whether she was dating Deion. Karrueche allegedly laughed it off and said, No. But then, Deions son, Deion Jr., dropped an emotional video from the ‘For Your Glory’ series, showing Karrueche crying and holding Deions hand during his bladder surgery in July. Claudia then showed a photo on her phone of Karrueche hugging Tracey, suggesting the two were close.
