Colin Kaepernick To Be Inducted Into His High School’s Athletic Hall of Fame

Colin Kaepernick continues to win in many different ways.

This time around he will enter the athletic hall of fame for Pitman High School. Kaepernick graduated from the school back in 2006 and will join eight other honorees for the school’s inaugural Hall of Fame class.

According to Sports Illustrated, Kaepernick played football, basketball, and baseball while he attended the school. He received All-State nominations in all three sports and threw for 1,956 yards and 22 touchdowns as a senior, and led the school to their first ever playoff win.

As we all know Kaepernick has made national headlines for kneeling during the National Anthem while he was still a part of the NFL. He decided to protest to bring awareness to police brutality against minorities and racial inequality.

Recently he was announced as the face of Nike’s latest “Just Do It,” campaign, which has been met with love and also criticism from those who have lost sight on what his protest is about.
